Homage To The Ol' Creek

So, tomorrow is the big day where me and the big bro goes to Maryland for one of the biggest events of the year for east coast import racing. World Cup Finals: Import vs. Domestic.  It's the 6th or 7th year straight and we don't plan on stopping. It'll be Dizzle's 3rd year (don't quote me) and I think it is the same for him. Buddies from NOVA also goin so it will be fun indeed. I plan on taking well over 1000 pictars so there shall be an update with a shit load of pictures coming within a week soon. I promise I'll keep updating this but school is just going crazy. Also, my knee is pretty much 100% healthy. Insanity next week? We'll see.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!!!

For the past few days I thought I'd run out of something to say but now I have something pretty decent to blog about. I'm sitting in the ER waiting room (at least for the next few hours) because my knee shifted over. Never in my life have I had this kind of a feeling. Messin around with my lil lil bro and all of my weight went on my right knee which has been on the fritz for a couple months and BOOM, I immediately hit the ground and my knee was at least 45* shifted over to the right.

Update: Dislocated knee which was put back into place by my lil older bro when it happened; he's awesome, I know.

Collective Minds

To keep this blog going and to stay interesting, I have added 2 more authors so I'm not representing Team HP from only my view. So without further ado, I bring to you, two creative minds.

In the red corner, we have Puck the 5'9". His Trojan horse? An S13 fronted coupe that is currently under the knife awaiting a new engine and a recently almost completed exterior switchup. As a quote from a thread on VADriven, his car is "battle ready". Even though he has switched up the looks of  to a more subtle "JDM" look, his car is like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Bruce Willis in the Expendables scene where they are calm and collect, but we all know they have battle scars . One thing that should be known is that he lets his car "do the talking" for him and he has the 'Eff it' mentality where if he wants to try something, he will and if he doesn't know exactly how to do it, he will look it up and is never scared of doing it. A true DIYer that'll try to make anything out of anything.. or nothing; MacGyver to the fullest.

(Well, after looking for pics, I realize that many of the intermediate pics are on his laptop, so the best I can do is put a pic from '08 and one from a couple days ago that really contradicts half of what I said. He'll prove that his car has changed more than enough over the past few years.)

In the blue corner, we have Dizzle. Simply put, he is a man of few words and has the Internet in his head but is one of the best doods to chill with. Think Chuck with the Intercept or Mike Ross on Suits; truly a gift. His weapon? A Zenki S14 that embodies elegance with subtle aggression (oxymoron? idk i guess). His meticulous choice of parts has earned him that "respectable" with a, "Oh ok, I see what you're doing" kinda look. As with every one of our cars his is a continual work in progress and he is the Da Vinci or Donatello.

Best thing about HP is that we all have different ways of thinking so later on down the road we might need some more corners. Just stay tuned.
